A "word" about hand dying...   Well, i'm learning...  And more and more of my customers are pushing the envelope and challenging me to create skinnies that have a more OOAK type feel.  That's wonderful!  I'd love to be able to do this for everyone, however, I think it's getting to the point where this makes my process quite a bit more time consuming...   And therefore, i'm going to have to start charging a fee of $10 for hand dyed skinnies...  That's a full dye-job, mind you, if they're being tipped, then that's only $5 extra...   I hope that this doesn't deter alot of people, it's been a big decision and I try to keep this hobby affordable, but I just need to pick up the supplies/time/effort cost somewhere...   <3

Annnd wouldn't you know it, I decided to cancel my storefront at etsy called "Unicornmine" because I did my rebranding weeks before the option of changing your store name came along, and I when went to change my name and they wouldn't let me because my "Unicornmine" name was taken... Go figure!!

I am still using the "Bridgeport7" storefront to sell my skinnies, and I'm kind of glad that I put the brakes on my rebranding, because I hated to leave all my contacts, circles and feedback behind...   I am going to also try to sell the scraps of lambskin that I have left from previous skinnies, for the wig makers, and the people that make reborns and sculpt...  All this beautiful hair has been sitting in bags, and it's just time for a closet cleanout! I'm also visiting different sized dolls that could use some pretty hairs as well...  Jerryberry's, Secretdolls, Pukifees, Puki pukis to name a few!  It has been both a challenge and a joy to see my ideas scribbled on a notepad come into being...

The wonderful artwork of Mab Graves!

A Sneakpeak of the GORGEOUS illustration which was created for me by Mab Graves.  What a rare talent and person she is!  She is so generous and truly a joy to talk with...  Mab has helped in making my rebranding effort more lovely than I could have imagined!  This is an image which will adorn 'Thank you' notes which will be included in my packages.  Since Mab made them for me personally, you won't be able to get them anywhere else!  Thank you SO much Mab, from the bottom of my heart, you have a true fan in me!

The Scarlet "S" graphic...

Additionally, I'm working with some WONDERFUL artists that I've found on etsy!  I contacted a wonderful Scottish calligrapher on Etsy by the name of Clare McCrory.  Clare designed a wonderful dancing unicorn with a wonderful rainbow mane and tail in front of a beautiful scarlett "S" for skinny.  You'll see this on my new tags inside your new skinny scalps, my shipping labels, and I've ordered some AWESOME Skinny club pins from Kyle at Buttonarcade! Adorable rainbow unicorn graphic!

While searching unicorns on Etsy, I also happened upon the storefront called "Zambicandy." CUTEST Unicorns!!  What an amazing talent!  Zambi draws adorable pony's and makes stickers or pendants even paperdoll unicorns!  She agreed to collaborate with me on making a beautiful rainbow Unicorn for my customers as well! I've chosen pendants and stickers for the beautiful little design that she created for me.. (there's a longer wait for this item to make it to my hot little hands, but hopefully I'll have them by October!) I just can't wait to send out my packages to my customers, and have them arrive packaged like a confection...  I think that's what this rebranding has really been about in the great scheme of things, I'm never restful if I feel it doesn't fit or isn't pretty, I like the package to be a delight to behold, and I hope that that comes through...
